JULIE GROGAN
JAMZ CHEER & DANCE

  • Title: President
  • How long has JAMZ been involved in the spirit industry? 14 wonderful years!
  • Mission/main idea behind JAMZ: JAMZ’ primary mission is twofold: Creating  athletic events where no detail is overlooked, and ensuring that positive memories are created for both athletes and their families.
  • What does being a member of OSIP mean to you? It's a great way for us to network with industry leaders.
  • Why did you join OSIP?  And what does your company do to promote the spirit industry? Primarily to enjoy the company of other spirit industry providers when none of us are WORKING an event.  We’ve worked with both homegrown and national media to validate the training, dedication and skill required to compete safely in this sport.
  • Interesting fact about JAMZ: JAMZ is a family business.  Mother, Daughter and 100 additional kids who happen to work in the family business.
  • What would you like to see happen with OSIP in the coming year?  We’d like to see OSIP assist service providers with a generic Media Kit containing current safety statistics and national participant numbers.  Each service provider could then modify the kit to fit the immediate media request, but the published basics would remain consistent.  In an era of news bytes, we must all remain diligent in defending the overall safety of our sport with strong statistics rather than emotion.
