  • How long have you been involved in the spirit industry?  If you count when I cheered at Ohio State, it's been 25 years.  COA began its year-long 20th Anniversary on May 27!
  • Mission/main idea behind COA:  COA's mission is to provide high quality programs and educational opportunities that promote personal development for all persons of the cheerleading, dance, and spirit community.
  • What does being a member of OSIP mean to you?  Why did you join OSIP?  This organization gives me a way to develop stronger relationships with my colleagues.
  • What does the COA do to promote the spirit industry?  COA is a founding member of two well-known organizations, both of which have enhanced the professionalism of those working in the spirit industry.  We are constantly improving and developing our programs in order to provide our customers with the highest level of satisfaction.
  • Interesting fact about COA:  COA, along with the Shirley A. Wedge National Cheer and Dance Scholarship Fund, has given over $350,000 in educational scholarships to deserving cheer and dance athletes since 1987.
